Custom orders

This is a one year old birthday card that I made for a co-worker. I used Cricut lite cart Yee-Haw. I uses some colored hemp cord around the lasso to make it look real, and silver brads  on the tips of the star and the spur on the boot.The background paper is from my scrap pile. I think that it turned our pretty cute!

Ok, so I thought I had  won a challenge, when actually, I was entered to win a challenge. So I kept checking, but no name was ever given for the winner. So today, I was just browsing through all my favorite blogs, and I guess they had failed to notify the winners of April, May, and June. Guess what?? I really was a  winner. I don't know if I actually won anything, but it was just fun to see my name on the list.LOL.

Mothers Day Card

This is a card that I made for my Mother to give her for Mothers Day. I used the cricut cartridge " Country Life". My mother is a quilter, and I thought that she would enjoy the quilt. I used scraps of paper that I have, I also used my Sizzix Texture Boutique to emboss the green paper with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, sorry I don't remember the name of the folder. The green paper is from Coredinations paper pack. I sanded it with some fine sand paper. The stamp is from My Pink Stamper. Ribbon and buttons from my own stash. I used a white gel pen to mark the stitches around the edges of the quilt.

Isn't this bunny cute?? I made this for a coworker who is leaving for a new job. Of course, it is from the Create a Critter cart.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY CARD

This is a card I made today for St Patrick's Day. I used my cricut cart "Designer's Calendar" for the shamrock. This is an "S" fold card. I used my paper scraps(which I have a lot of) and my new ATG gun (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!!!) for adhesive. I chalked the edges of the card and the papers with Color Box Liquid Chalk. I used my Texture Boutique (so Cute) from Cuttlebug to emboss my shamrock with the Swiss Dots folder. I then added a green button with green embroidery floss to the center of the shamrock, and adhered with a glue dot.

New to this

Hi everyone and anyone who may look at this. I am eventually wanting to post my cards that I have made on here, but first I just want to check it out. If anyone has suggestions, I would love them, as I am of the older generation, and not quite sure of what I am doing. Thanks for stopping by.
